Why Rate Limits Exist

Rate limits protect the platform from spam, abuse, and server overload. They ensure a fair experience for everyone. Most users will never hit these limits during normal use.

Daily Upload & Album Limits

Your daily limits depend on your account type:

Regular User

Default
10 posts/day (100 if admin-approved). No albums -- only creators can create albums. All uploads go through moderation review.

Creator

Verified
10 posts/day (100 if admin-approved). 1 album/day (5 if admin-approved). Same moderation rules apply. Batch uploads for albums do not count toward post limit.

Authentication Limits

- Login: 5 attempts per 15 minutes per IP, 10 per username - Registration: 3 attempts per hour per IP - CAPTCHA: Automatically required after 3 failed login attempts from the same IP - Accounts: Maximum 2 accounts per browser fingerprint

Content Rate Limits

- Comments: 5 per minute - Messages: 20 per 5 minutes - Reports: 5 per hour - Purchase attempts: 5 per minute - File sizes: 30MB per image, 100MB per video - File types: JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, MP4, WebM

Batch Upload Exemption

Posts uploaded through the batch uploader for premium or private albums are marked as album-exclusive and do not count toward your daily post limit. This lets creators build large albums without burning through their daily quota. These posts are hidden from the main feed and only visible inside their album.

Album Publish Limit

The daily album limit is checked when you publish an album, not when you create a draft. You can create and edit as many drafts as you want -- the limit only applies at the moment you submit for review or auto-publish.
