DMCA / Content Takedown

1. Respect for Intellectual Property

Rule34.hot respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied or posted on our Site in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may submit a takedown request in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

2. Filing a Takedown Request

To submit a DMCA takedown request, please use our contact form and select the "DMCA Takedown" category. Your request must include:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The specific URLs on Rule34.hot where the infringing content is located.
  • Your contact information (email address) so we can reach you regarding your request.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

3. Counter-Notification

If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was issued in error or that you have authorization to use the material, you may submit a counter-notification via our contact form. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Identification of the content that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your contact information (email address).

4. Processing Timeline

We strive to review and act on all DMCA takedown requests within 72 hours of receipt. Content found to be in violation will be removed promptly. In the case of a counter-notification, we will follow the procedures outlined in the DMCA.

5. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA, Rule34.hot will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

6. Good Faith

Please be aware that knowingly misrepresenting that material or activity on the Site is infringing may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are unsure whether content infringes your copyright, you may wish to seek legal counsel before submitting a takedown request.
