How to buy USDC on Polygon and add it to your MetaMask wallet so you can make purchases.

What You Need

You need

USDC (a stablecoin worth exactly $1) on the Polygon network, plus a tiny amount of

POL for gas fees. Two ways to get them: buy inside MetaMask, or transfer from an exchange.

How to Buy

Pick the method that works best for you:

USDC

on Polygon

Buy in MetaMask

Easiest

MetaMask has a built-in "Buy" button. Pay with debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or bank transfer.

USDC on the Polygon network 3. Enter amount (e.g. $10) 4. Also buy $1-2 of

POL for gas fees 5. Funds appear in seconds. Takes 2-3 minutes total.

Transfer from Exchange

For existing users

Already have Coinbase, Binance, or Kraken?

1. Buy

USDC +

POL on the exchange 2. Go to "Withdraw" / "Send" 3. Paste your MetaMask wallet address (0x...) 4. Select the Polygon network (important!) 5. Confirm withdrawal

Funds arrive within a few minutes.

Network Fees ("Gas")

Every transaction on Polygon needs a tiny processing fee. Buy $1-2 of

POL alongside your

USDC — this is enough for many transactions. Polygon fees are extremely low, usually under $0.01 per transaction.

First-Time Identity Check (KYC)

When buying crypto for the first time, you may need to upload a photo ID. This is a one-time legal requirement, usually approved in minutes.

After that, all purchases are private. No bank statements, no records shared with anyone.

Album price + 10% platform fee + gas. Example: for a $5 album, add ~$7

USDC + $1

POL for gas. Leftover stays in your wallet.
